Having investigated a case and reached a decision to make an order, what next? This course covers the detail of drafting an order and associated notices accurately, statutory consultation, advertising and orders on deposit.

Note that the process of investigation, determination and opposed orders is covered in other courses on Documentary Evidence, User Evidence and Opposed Orders.

The course includes preparation in your own time on the Tuesday afternoon, so you are recommended to allocate all of the day to the course.

  • Drafting an order and notice using templates
  • Advertising, consultation and deposit

Preparation Time Required

The course will close at 2 p.m on day 1 but there will be a task to complete before day 2 so participants are strongly recommended to allocate all of day 1 to the course.

Microsoft Teams is the software used for training which is available to anyone. Using the app is strongly recommended for full functionality as the web browser version may be missing some facilities, although full participation should be possible, use of some apps within Teams may be limited by participating organisation's protocols.
