Recording of virtual training events

There is an expectation that virtual events will be recorded for later viewing, however, although it is possible to record virtual events, we do not offer this facility because:

1. There is no control over who may view the recording, even if only one person is given access, it can be broadcast or copied.
2. Trainers and participants have expressed concern about confidentiality (particularly in view of 1) and that knowing material is recorded can affect what one may be comfortable to say (or even be visible), which can be a disbenefit to the event and learning outcomes for all.

There may be exceptions for members at our discretion on request for special circumstances, if accepted by all those present, and available only to a single viewer for one week only, if that member is able to access an external Sharepoint file.
