Regional Development Day at Knaresborough
Regional events are an opportunity to network with colleagues, discuss issues and to share practice and experience, this is not a training course so please be prepared to bring your own examples to contribute and raise your own points for discussion.
10am start
There will be presentations in the morning;
The Role of Volunteers in the Nidderdale National Landscape - Elizabeth Milner and Iain Mann, NNL
The Importance of Volunteers in Managing PROWs and Supporting Accessibility - Andrew Elliker-Reeve, Travelling Blind
National Trails UK Habitats along National Trails Pilot Project Using Trained Volunteers - Hannah Brightley, NTUK
A lunch will be provided along with tea and coffee.
The afternoon will be a local walk and the opportunity to network.
There are plenty of places but there is a minimum of 10 to run this event and bookings will close on 15th May 2026 - if you are unable to attend after you have booked please let membership@iprow.co.uk know as soon as possible so that places may be given to those on a waiting list.
There is no charge for the event, this is a free member benefit.
