Was articled in the PROW dept of a County Council in the 1970s; worked as legal adviser at CLA HQ in London in the 1980s; and since 1987 has been in practice in Somerset, specialising increasingly in advising landowning clients on public access management: how to deal properly with existing PROWs; steps available for prevention of untoward rights arising; and how best to deal with new claims.  Clients across much of southern and central England and Wales.
